In the last several weeks, I've been spending way too much time in front of a computer screen. Its largely my fault. I go to work and sit in front of a computer screen all day. Then...I come home and sit in front of my computer doing this project or that project. Day after day of this, it can wear on our eyes after awhile.
Tonight I came home and purposely didn't use my computer for 4 and half hours! It was quite refreshing. I cleaned my back porch and cleaned the pine cones out of my yard. Part way through, I chatted with neighbors. After the chatting with both neighbors and the onset of fleeting light, I decided to go inside. I played piano and sang for almost an hour.
Tonight was a great reminder of the breaks needed from computer screens. A friend of mine pointed out a pair of glasses that cut down on the glare of the computer screen. I wish they had them in prescription glasses. That'd be great!

So take a break from your computer screen and think about how you view your computer screen...it's well worth being wise when it comes to your eyes. You only have 2 and they won't last forever.
